THIS WEEKEND
DECATUR: (This information is not available on the GPC Native Plant Garden website due to technical issues) A Reminder of the Discount Plant Sales and Fern Garden Walks. Fern Garden Walks The British Pteridological (Fern) Society will visit the gardens the week of June 12. The garden has been prepared over the past weeks and months for this tour and the garden, especially the fern areas, are at their peak with over 355 taxa of ferns. This is a great opportunity and time to see the gardens and have a guided tour of the largest collection of ferns in the US and perhaps the world. We have both native and non-native species. Three beds also display xeric ferns. Garden walks of the fern areas will be given on Saturday, June 11 at 10:00am and Sunday, June 12 at 2:30pm. Each walk will last about an hour followed by a Discount Plant Sale. We are offering three Discount (10% - 25%) Plant Sales on the three dates noted above at special times. Details are given below. We only accept cash and personal checks for payment.
