Dawn Hines, DeKalb Master Gardener Trees of Our Lives: Small Native Trees for the Landscape PowerPoint presentation including many photographs about all aspects of tree care: choosing, planting, pruning, and the danger of non-native invasives (or exotics) to our landscapes and native areas. GRIFFIN:Landscape Management Update Friday, April 1, 2011, 9am 12:30pm UGAGriffin Campus, Research Education Garden Classroom This program is designed for the commercial landscaper who wants to increase his or her knowledge of landscape management including: site analysis and bed preparation, plant selection -both woody and herbaceous, fertilization and irrigation, water-wise landscape tips, as well as creating outstanding design curb appeal. All refreshments and handouts are included in the program. Bob Westerfield and Bodie Pennisi will be the primary program speakers and are with the University of Georgia Horticulture Department. $30.00 Registration is required. Pre-registration is required.
